MICROWAVE PEANUT BRITTLE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1 c. nuts
1 tsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

For raw nuts, place nuts and 1/8 teaspoon salt at first step. Stir and cook sugar and Karo syrup on High 4 minutes. Add nuts, stir and cook on High 3 1/2 minutes (if smells burnt, take out). Add butter and vanilla; stir and cook on High 1 - 2 minutes. Add soda. Stir well and pour onto buttered cookie sheet. Rub thin with spoon. Rotate occasionally. Cool for 1/2 hour and break.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
