FETTUCCINE ALFREDO | |
1 lb. fettuccine 1 pt. heavy cream 1/2 c. butter 1 c. grated cheese 1/2 lb. prosciutto, cubed 1. Cook fettuccine according to directions on package. 2. Drain well. 3. While fettuccine is cooking, blend cream, butter and prosciutto in a saucepan over medium heat, stir constantly. 4. Bring to low boil until mixture is quite thick. 5. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan grated cheese. 6. Stir with fettuccine until coated. 7. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper. 8. Serve with side dish of grated cheese. |
