CINNAMON ROLLS
Basic Sweet Roll Dough
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
3/4 c. raisins (optional)
Confectioners' Icing

Roll each half of basic sweet roll dough into a 12 x 8 inch rectangle. Brush each piece with half the melted butter. Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over dough. Sprinkle with raisins, if desired. Roll up each piece, jelly-roll style, starting from long side. Seal seam. Slice each into 12 rolls. Place rolls, cut side down, in 2 greased 9 x 1 1/2 inch round baking pans. Cover and let rise in a warm place until double (about 35 minutes). Bake at 375 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes.

Drizzle Confectioners' Icing over warm rolls. Makes 24.

CONFECTIONERS' ICING:

Combine 1 cup sifted powdered sugar, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla, and enough milk to make of drizzling consistency (about 1 1/2 tablespoons).
