BLACKBERRY CAKE 
6 eggs
4 egg whites
1 c. butter
3 c. flour
6 tbsp. buttermilk or sour milk
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. sugar
1 c. blackberries

Cream butter and 6 eggs and sugar. Add remaining ingredients except egg whites and mix well.

Beat egg whites separately until stiff, then gently fold into batter. Bake at 350 degrees until done.
