MOCK CHEESE CAKE | |
2 3/4 c. graham cracker crumbs 1/2 c. butter 1/4 c. sugar 3 beaten egg yolks 1 can condensed (sweetened) Eagle Brand milk 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice 3 stiffly beaten egg whites 2 c. applesauce Combine crumbs, sugar and butter; mix well. Put 1/2 cup crumbs aside for top. Press remaining crumbs on bottom and sides of springform pan. Combine egg yolks, milk, applesauce, lemon juice and rind. Mix well. Fold in beaten egg whites. Pour into crumb crust. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup crumbs. |
