CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE 
Put in saucepan and bring to a boil:

2 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water

Sift together in large bowl:

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar

Pour chocolate sauce over dry ingredients. Mix well and add:

1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Pour into greased large jelly roll pan. Bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees. While sheet cake is hot, frost with frosting below.

FROSTING:

3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1 stick butter
1/3 c. milk
1 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Combine cocoa, butter and milk. Melt to a boil. Add 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar, salt, vanilla and nuts.
