ORANGE SPICED CARROTS 
2 1/2 c. sliced carrots
1/2 c. orange juice
1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. ginger
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter

I added a tablespoon of honey also to make them a little different "some times".

Steam carrots until just tender! Combine orange juice, cornstarch and spices, sugar, butter and honey if desired. Heat over medium heat until sauce begins to thicken, add in the steamed, drained carrots, simmer a short time to make sure they are heated through. Set off, cover until ready to eat.
