CHOCOLATE CREAM PIE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. Gold Medal flour
3 c. milk
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Meringue

In a saucepan mix sugar, cocoa, salt, cornstarch and flour. Gradually stir in milk. Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Boil 1 minute and remove from heat. Stir at least 1 cup of the hot mixture slowly into egg yolks.

Blend egg mixture into hot mixture in saucepan and boil one minute more stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Blend in butter and vanilla. Pour into cooled pie shell and cover with meringue. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
