1 qt. scalded milk 3/4 c. hot water Mashed potatoes 1 c. sugar 1 c. melted butter 2 tsp. salt To the hot water, add enough instant mashed potatoes to equal 1 cup. Stir all together and cool. 1 tsp. baking soda 8 or more c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder Add yeast to above mixture when cool. Mix. Add soda, baking powder, and flour. Knead for about 15 minutes. Raise, punch down and refrigerate until ready to use. Roll out, let raise, deep fat fry at 350 degrees. |
