DATE NUT BREAD 
1 c. chopped dates
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. boiling water
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine first four ingredients; let stand 10 minutes. Beat eggs, sugar, flour and salt all together. Combine two mixtures. Pour in greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until bread tests done.
