MAPLE PRALINES 
2 c. sugar
2/3 c. milk
1 c. maple syrup
2 c. pecan meats

Boil the sugar, milk, and maple syrup until the mixture reaches the soft-ball stage (238 degrees). Remove from the fire and cool. When it is lukewarm, beat until it is smooth and creamy. Add any kind of broken nut-meats and drop on buttered pan or waxed paper from the tip of a spoon, making little mounds.
