SWEDISH NUTS 
1 1/2 c. almonds
2 c. walnuts
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 egg whites

Toast nuts at 325 degrees for 10 minutes; remove from oven and let cool. Beat egg whites until very stiff. Mix in sugar and then nuts. Set aside. Melt butter on cookie sheet. Spread nuts on cookie sheet. Bake for 1/2 hour at 325 degrees, stirring every 10 minutes.
