1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. M & M's
1 c. Spanish peanuts
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda

Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Let them cool a bit before removing from pan.
