PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. creamy or chunky peanut butter
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 lg. egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1/2 c. salted Spanish peanuts (red skins on)

On waxed paper thoroughly stir together the flour and baking soda. In a medium mixing bowl cream butter and peanut butter. Beat in one ingredient at a time, the brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg and vanilla. Add flour mixture, with a spoon, mix well. Stir in peanuts and chocolate pieces. Drop by heaping teaspoon about 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets. Press down with floured fork making criss cross patterns. Bake 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
