BARLEY CASSEROLE 
1/8 c. butter
1/2 c. minced onion
1/2 c. pearl barley, uncooked
4 oz. can mushrooms and juice
1 can College Inn chicken broth
1/2 c. slivered almonds

Saute the barley in the butter along with the onions. Add the mushrooms and the broth and bake covered in a 1-quart casserole at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Then uncover and sprinkle with 1/2 cup slivered almonds and bake 15 minutes longer uncovered.
