BUTTER JUMBLES 
2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
2 eggs
5 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
4 c. flour

Sift the dry ingredients together. Cream the sugar and butter. Add the eggs and milk and stir well. Add the dry ingredients and mix well. Chill the dough about one hour. Roll out and cut with cookie cutters. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
