PIZZA DOUGH | |
Dough 1 pkg. active dry yeast 1/2 tsp. sugar 1 c. very warm water 3 1/4 c. all-purpose flour 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. vegetable oil DOUGH. Stir to dissolve and let stand 10 minutes, until mixture bubbles yeast, sugar and warm water. Combine in large bowl: flour and salt. Make a well in center for the yeast mixture: work dough until stiff then turn out on floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic (5 minutes). Make a ball and place into oiled medium size bowl. Turn dough to coat all over with oil. Cover with towel. Let rise in warm place (45 minutes or until dough doubles in size). Punch down and roll out. |
