PINEAPPLE JELL-O SALAD 
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. lemon Jell-O
4 c. boiling water
2 c. miniature marshmallows
1 (No. 2) can (20 oz. size) crushed pineapple (save juice)
4 bananas, diced

TOPPING:

1 c. pineapple juice
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. nuts, finely chopped
1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped

In a 9 x 13-inch dish, make Jell-O and while it is hot, melt marshmallows in it. Let stand until it starts to thicken, then add pineapple and bananas. Chill.

To make topping, mix first 4 topping ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes. Add the butter while warm, cool mixture so that it thickens. When cold, fold in whipped cream. Frost over Jell-O like cake and sprinkle with nuts.
