GINGERBREAD PANCAKES | |
1 c. all-purpose flour 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp. ground ginger Dash of ground cloves 1/2 c. milk 3 tbsp. molasses 1 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 egg, slightly beaten Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; stir well. Combine milk and next 3 ingredients. Add to dry ingredients, stirring until smooth. Spoon about 1/4 cup batter onto a hot skillet. Turn pancakes when tops are covered with bubbles and edges look cooked. Yield 9 (4 inch) pancakes. |
