ITALIAN CHOCOLATE COOKIES 
4-4 1/2 c. flour
3 beaten eggs
1 3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
3/4 c. Crisco
6 tbsp. Hershey cocoa dark
1 1/2 tsp. cloves
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. walnuts

Cream sugar and Crisco. Add beaten eggs. Add dry ingredients alternate with milk, vanilla and nuts. Drop by tablespoons on greased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees.

FROSTING:

4 tbsp. cocoa
1 pkg. confectioners' sugar
1 tbsp. butter or Crisco
Small amount of hot coffee

Cream butter. Mix cocoa, sugar and hot coffee a little at a time. Frost cookies.
