BUTTERMILK CUSTARD 
1 stick butter
1/2 c. sugar
3 egg yolks, beaten
3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
3 tsp. vanilla
1 pt. buttermilk
1 can coconut

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks and mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients, adding egg whites last. Bake at 350 degrees until firm.
