APPLE CRISP 
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
12 pared apples to fill the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan.

TOPPING:

1 c. sugar
Cinnamon
Nutmeg

Cut butter into dry ingredients to make a crumb mixture. Slice apples thin and put into a 9 x 13 inch buttered pan. Sprinkle with sugar and spices. Arrange crumb mixture on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
