APPLE PIE | |
Pastry for 9 inch, double-crust pie 1/4 c. sugar 1 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon Dash of salt 6 med.-size tart apples 1/4 c. butter 3/4 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. flour Blend together the 1/4 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon flour, cinnamon and salt. Toss lightly with sliced apples. Spoon into pastry-lined pan. Combine butter, brown sugar and 1/2 cup flour and sprinkle over pie filling. Cover with top crust and cut slits in top of crust. Bake at 425 degrees for about 35 to 40 minutes. |
