2 egg whites 2 egg yolks 1 2/3 c. milk 1/4 c. oil 2 c. sifted flour 1 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 3 tsp. baking powder Place egg whites in mixing bowl. Beat at high speed until stiff, but not dry; set aside. Place egg yolks, milk and oil in small mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed until blended. Sift flour, sugar, salt and baking powder together. Add to egg yolk mixture and beat at medium speed, scraping sides and bottom of bowl with spatula until blended. Remove from mixer and fold in beaten egg whites. Preheat waffle iron to medium heat; using 7/8 cup batter, spreading evenly over grids. |
