CANNED TOMATO PEPPER SAUCE 
1 bushel tomatoes
1/2 bushel green or red peppers
1/2 bushel onions
1/4 c. salt
1/2 to 1 c. oil

Remove skin and core from tomatoes. Cut peppers and onions in small pieces. Combine all in large pan and boil for 1 to 2 hours until thick. Seal in jars. Good in meat loaf, or to simmer hot sausage in, or in casseroles. Good in chili also. This recipe gives you about 30 pints.
