CALIFORNIA CITRUS CAKE | |
4 eggs 1 pkg. (2 layer) yellow cake mix 1 pkg. (3 3/4 oz.) lemon instant pudding 3/4 c. water 1/2 c. cooking oil 2 c. confectioners' sugar 1/3 c. orange juice 2 tbsp. grated orange rind, fresh orange slices Beat eggs; add cake mix, pudding, water and oil. Beat 10 minutes. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Cool in pan. For glaze: Combine and heat to boiling, sugar and orange juice; stir in orange rind. Cool. When cake is cool, remove from pan, put on plate. Drizzle glaze over cake. Garnish with orange slices. |
