POPEYE PIE 
1 recipe basic pie crust
1 lb. sausage links
5 eggs
1 c. cottage cheese
16 oz. Mozzarella (shredded)
2 (10 oz.) pkg. spinach
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper

Make pie crust. Cook sausage (preferably sweet Italian sausage), cut in thin slices. Combine 4 eggs, spinach, Mozzarella, cottage cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir in sausage.

Add mixture to pastry-lined baking dish, put pastry top on, seal and flute. Combine 1 egg with water and brush over pastry top. Cover edges with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes, remove foil and bake 30 minutes more.
