HOLIDAY COTTAGE COMPOTE 
12 oz. cottage cheese (small curd)
8 oz. half and half milk
1 tsp. almond flavoring
2 (No. 2) cans fruit cocktail
2 env. gelatin
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 (4 oz.) bottle maraschino cherries, chopped

Add milk to cottage cheese gradually, beating at medium speed. Add almond flavoring.

Drain liquid from cans of fruit cocktail. Dissolve gelatin in one half of liquid. Bring balance of liquid to a boil and add gelatin mixture to it Fold in remaining ingredients.

Lightly brush 8 to 10 molds (according to size) with salad oil and partly fill with seedless green and/or red grapes. Finish filling molds with ingredient mixture, chill until firm. Serve on lettuce.

Spoon mixture into 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Chill until firm. Serve in squares on lettuce, garnish with green grapes. Serves 9.
