SOUTHERN - STYLE SAUSAGE
DRESSING
 
1 lb. Jimmy Dean pork sausage, reg. or special recipe
1 c. chopped celery
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 recipe biscuits, crumbled (about 5 c.)
1 recipe cornbread, crumbled (about 5 c.)
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 cans (14 1/2 oz. each) chicken broth (about 4 c.)

Saute sausage, celery and onion. In large bowl, combine sausage mixture and remaining ingredients; blend well. Stuff mixture into birds and roast according to standard roasting directions. Mixture may also be baked in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until lightly browned. Makes about 12 cups or 10-12 servings.
