PEACH COBBLER 
2 1/2 lbs. sliced peaches
3/4 c. sugar
Sprinkle of cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. water (scant)

CRUST:

1 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 c. buttermilk

Mix sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and egg. Add buttermilk. Grease casserole dish with butter. Pour batter in dish. Then top with fruit mix. Do not stir.

Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for about 40 to 50 minutes.

Serve hot or cold with cream if desired.
