BLUEBERRY-APPLE CRISP 
Cut 6 apples into thin slices and put into a buttered 8 inch square baking pan. Sprinkle over apples a pinch of salt, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1 tablespoon sugar. Pour 1/2 cup water over this. Cover with 2 cups frozen or fresh blueberries.

In a small bowl mix 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 cup flour, and 6 tablespoons hard butter. Mix thoroughly with fingers. Sprinkle over blueberries.

Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
