BLUEBERRY DESSERT 
2 c. fresh blueberries
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Butter a 9 x 9 inch pan. Turn blueberries into pan, dribble lemon juice over and sprinkle berries with cinnamon.

BATTER:

3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. butter
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk

Cream butter and sugar and add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk. Spread the batter all over the top of the berries.

TOPPING:

1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
Dash of salt
1 c. boiling water

Mix sugar, salt, and cornstarch. Turn this dry mixture all over batter. Then pour 1 cup boiling water over top of everything. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Serve warm, topped with ice cream or whipped cream or very good just plain.
