BOLOGNA SANDWICH
Buy some ham or bologna (one pack) and some bread (one loaf) and buy a little jar of mustard. Then you make yourself a bologna sandwich. Put the bread down on the table, put the bologna on it. Spread the mustard on the bologna. Put another piece of bread on the bologna, then eat it with some milk. Then clean up.

Any of these recipes are fine but, use thick sliced bologna, roll it in flour and fry in a skillet before adding to bread. Choose your toppings!

I am from Kansas and I have made bologna sandwiches different ways. One way I like is to butter two slices of bread. Put one slice buttered down in the skillet, put a slice of bologna and a slice of cheese, then put the other piece of bread butter side up and grill it. It's yummy and I also like bologna with tomato and mustard on white bread.

Try buying a larger piece and boiling it. Called Newfoundland steak. Guess could add veggies too.

Pickles!! No one includes the pickles! Lay down 2 slices of bread, on one slice spread mayo, the other slice spread ketchup. Lay down one slice of Bologna, add 5 dill pickle slices. Lay down another slice of Bologna, put 2nd slice of bread on top.

It's like homemade pickle loaf XD

Here's my favorite take on this.. 2 slices 2 week old dry bread, several slices bologna, 3 freshly shucked raw oysters, mustard, all slapped together... Eaten while taking big slugs of whiskey.

This is a great sandwich. Try this twist, spread salad dressing on both pieces of bread instead of mustard. On one slice of bread slice a banana and lay on top of bread, then add bologna on top of banana. Add other slice of bread and press together. Eat and enjoy!!!

Take two slices of very soft white bread. Take a very thick slice of baloney and fry in a cast iron skillet with a little bacon grease. Make sure this reaches the almost burnt stage. Meantime add Hellmam's mayo or if out west it is called best foods mayo. Better if it covers both sides of bread (for those with more experience feel free to put all mayo on one slice of the bread). Take baloney from skillet when desired doneness and put on one slice of the bread. Be sure to put the hot meat on the piece with the most mayo. (For those that are adventurous you may add a fried egg if it is anywhere within a 12 hour window of breakfast time) Now put the other slice of bread on top of the meat. Make sure the mayo sides are turned inward to the meat. Grab an ice cold RC to wash it down but you may substitute a Pepsi throwback if you can find one. Otherwise drink a big jar of sweet tea or lemonade. If drinking lemonade make sure that first taste puckers you up good. This was ha.ded down by word of mouth from my grandmother who would have been 100 years old now so it must be original. This sandwich has made many a bad thing better with the first bite. Be careful if this is you first time as the feelings of comfort and love and home may overwhelm you. Enjoy.

I've read some people have used salad dressing. I strongly prefer you use Italian Vinaigrette on sourdough bread. Allow the bread to get moist or soggy with the dressing. Fix it up and go to town!

My favorite is to use good white bread & beef bologna, ya gotta do beef bologna with lots & lots of mustard. When I make a bologna sandwich for myself & if one of my kids see me they're eyes seriously look like they're gonna pop out of there head, lots of mustard is the key & all over the bread & bologna on both sides. Mmmmmmmmm, I wish I had bologna :)
