6 c. sugar 1/2 lb. butter 1 sm. bottle Karo syrup (2 c.) 1 lg. can plus 1 sm. can Carnation milk Cook until forms soft ball in cold water (soft ball stage); take from heat and beat until it loses its gloss. You may use peanut butter or walnuts. Makes approximately 5 pounds. Very good. |
