DROP BISCUITS 
2 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. Crisco
1 c. milk

In bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in Crisco until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add milk; stir until blended. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface. Knead lightly, 8 to 10 times. Drop from spoon on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Makes many biscuits.

Check for doneness after about 5 minutes as smaller biscuits cook quicker.
