HOT FISH POTATO SALAD | |
1 lb. fish fillets, cut in 1" chunks 6 slices bacon, crumbled & save fat 1/2 c. sliced celery 1/2 c. chopped onions 3 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. paprika 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. celery seeds 1/2 c. wine vinegar 1 c. water 3 c. cooked sliced potatoes Saute celery and onion in bacon fat. Combine next 5 ingredients. Stir into vegetables. Add vinegar and water gradually. Cook until thick. Add potatoes, bacon and fish and mix lightly. Cover and cook over low heat 10 minutes until fish flakes. |
