BEEF STEW | |
2 lbs. beef chuck roast 2 med. onions, peeled and diced 1 lb. carrots 16 oz. can tomatoes 2 c. water 1 tbsp. basil 1 tsp. pepper 5 potatoes, peeled and diced Cube beef; saute in small amount of fat; slice onions and saute in fat. Place beef, onions, carrots, tomatoes, basil, pepper and water in large covered pot. Bring to boil; simmer 2 hours. Add potatoes the last 45 minutes. |
