BEEF JERKY 
1/2 lb. steak, partially frozen
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 tbsp. liquid smoke
1 tsp. onion powder
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. monosodium glutamate
1/3 tsp. garlic powder

Slice beef 1/4 inch thick. Place in shallow dish. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over beef. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lay beef strips on a broiling rack. Put in oven for about 1 hour or until dry.
