STRAWBERRY JAM 
2 1/2 c. sugar
2 2/3 c. (2 (12 oz.) pkgs.) frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
4 tbsp. or 1/2 box Sure Jell fruit pectin

Measure sugar and set aside; combine thawed strawberries and mix with 1/3 cup water and Sure Jell in saucepan. Put over high heat and bring to boil, stirring constantly. At once, stir in sugar; bring to boil again. Boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, skim off foam, and pour into glasses. (No paraffing needed if used within 2 months.) Yield: 5 glasses (2 1/2 pounds).

Mix contents thoroughly before measuring.
