HOT TUNA SALAD | |
1 (6 1/2 or 7 oz.) can tuna, drained & flaked 1 c. diced celery 1/2 c. mayonnaise 1/4 c. slivered almonds, toasted 2 tbsp. chopped ripe olives 2 tsp. lemon juice 1 tsp. minced onion 1/4 c. crushed corn flakes 1 tbsp. pkg. grated American cheese 1 tbsp. butter, melted Combine tuna, celery, mayonnaise, toasted almonds, ripe olives, lemon juice and onion; toss lightly. Pile into four baking shells or individual dishes. Bake in a moderate oven, 350 degrees, for ten minutes. Combine crushed corn flakes, cheese and melted butter; sprinkle over hot salads. Bake 10 minutes more or until browned. Makes 4 servings. |
