1 c. white sugar 1 c. brown sugar 1 c. butter, softened 1 c. salad oil 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. salt 3 1/2 c. flour 3 tsp. vanilla 1 c. oatmeal (quick cooking) 1 c. Rice Krispies 1 c. flaked coconut 1 c. nuts, chopped Mix together white sugar, brown sugar, butter and salad oil. Mix together baking soda, cream of tartar, salt and flour and add to above. Add vanilla, oatmeal, Rice Krispies, coconut and nuts. Drop from teaspoon two inches apart, then press with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until very light brown. Cool on rack. |
