ONION - CHEESE SUPPER BREAD 
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. Bisquick mix (or Jiffy mix)
1 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. parsley flakes
2 tbsp. melted butter

Cook onion in small amount hot fat until tender but not brown. Combine egg and milk. Add to Bisquick mix. Stir only until mix is just moistened. Add onion, half the cheese and parsley. Spread dough in a greased 8 x 1 1/2 inch round cake pan. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Drizzle melted butter over this. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
