CHESS CAKE 
1 c. butter
1 (16 oz.) box lite brown sugar
3/4 c. white granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
2 c. self-rising flour, sifted
1 c. nuts (optional)

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and dust with flour a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan; melt butter over low heat. Remove. Add brown sugar, white sugar and vanilla. Stir thoroughly. Add eggs, fold in flour and nuts. Spread in pan and bake 40 minutes. When cool, cut in squares.
