2 1/2 c. Aunt Jemima self-rising white cornmeal mix
1 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
Cooking oil

Except cooking oil, stir all ingredients together. You want mix to be thick. Place cooking oil in skillet or use deep oil Fry Daddy. Get cooking oil hot. Drop spoonfuls in grease and cook until brown. If mix is too gummy, add 1 tablespoon of water.
