MIXED PICKLES 
4 qts. thin sliced cucumbers
1 qt. sliced onions
3 c. cauliflower (I add more)
1 green pepper, cut in 1/2" squares
3 garlic cloves
1/3 c. pickling salt

VINEGAR MIXTURE:

5 c. sugar
2 tbsp. mustard seed
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
3 c. cider vinegar

Put all vegetables together and salt, cover with ice cubes for 3 hours. Make vinegar mixture from remaining ingredients. Bring vinegar and vegetable mixture to a boil. Place in jars and seal.
