CHOCOLATE CHIP BLONDE BROWNIES 
2/3 c. butter
2 tbsp. hot water
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chocolate chips
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. pecans

Melt butter, add hot water and brown sugar; cool slightly. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Spread in greased 9"x13" pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans over top. Bake 30 minutes in 350 degree oven. Cool.
