TAMALE CASSEROLE 
1/2 lb. pork sausage
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
1 c. chopped onion
2 c. finely sliced celery
1 (#2 1/2) can tomatoes
2 c. kernel corn (#303)
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 c. cornmeal
1 1/2 c. pitted ripe olives
1 1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese

Cook sausage until lightly browned. Drain off fat, add beef and cook until brown. Stir in garlic, onion, and celery. Cook until onion is transparent. Add tomatoes, corn, salt and chili powder. Simmer for about 15 minutes. SLOWLY stir in cornmeal and cook until thickened. Stir in olives. Turn into greased 2 quart casserole. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. 8 servings.
