12 slices bread 2 lbs. bulk sausage 16 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese 10 eggs 1 qt. half and half 1 tbsp. mustard Spray a 13x9 pan with Pam. (I use a disposable pan that's a little larger.) Pull bread apart or cut it into small pieces and put in the pan. Cook sausage and drain well. Spread sausage over bread. Grate cheese and spread over sausage. Beat together eggs, half and half and mustard. Pour evenly over cheese. Push bread, cheese and sausage under egg mixture if they float to the top. Cover with aluminum foil and refrigerate overnight. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 50-55 minutes. |
