FRENCH ONION SOUP 
6 c. sliced onions
4 c. beef broth
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
6 to 8 slices toasted French bread
1 c. shredded Swiss or Mozzarella cheese

Sauté onion in butter. Add broth, sugar, Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper. Bring to a boil; cook 15 to 20 minutes. Ladle soup in bowl. Put slice of bread in bowl and top with cheese.

Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.
