NUT TORTE CAKE 
4 eggs separated
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sour cream
1 c. walnuts
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Beat 4 egg whites until stiff. Set aside. Cream together 4 egg yolks, butter and sugar. Mix together flour and baking soda, and add to creamy mixture. Add sour cream and walnuts. Fold in beaten egg whites. Bake t 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. When cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar instead of frosting.
